  1. OpenOpen Notes to Play and tap Enter the studio. Tap Install to add it to your device; it then works offline.
  2. New songOn the Start screen tap New song (or Demo song to look around).
  3. KeyTap Change on the Song key plate. Pick major or minor and a root.
  4. ChordsTap chords on the circle to hear them (green = in your key). Tap Add chord, or use the Chord finder dial and ✎ Write.
  5. PartsTap + Add part for a Chorus or Bridge. Set repeats with − ×1 +.
  6. How it playsPick Hold, Pulse, Arp or Strum for Keys and Guitar, part by part.
  7. BeatsOpen Beats: tap pads, pick a preset, or tap the grid.
  8. LyricsOpen Notes or Song view and type lyrics under the chords. Rhymes appear as you write.
  9. PlayPress Play (space bar). Loop part, Loop song or No loop. Set the tempo.
  10. Record+ Channel → Record or load audio, wired headphones on, ● Record take.
  11. SaveTap Save. Export or Share from the song card to keep a copy.
